Analyzed middle school students (N=5,423) for ethnic differences in suicidal ideation, suicidal thoughts during the past two weeks, suicide plans, and suicide attempts. Results indicate that ideation was higher among females, older youths, and lower status youths. A similar pattern, except for gender, held for recent suicidal plans and attempts. (RJM)
