In the Israeli educational system, the use of school management information systems has required the creation of a new position: school computer administrator (SCA). This article examines the SCA's responsibilities and interrelations with the principal, subject coordinators, homeroom teachers, and teachers. Also, assesses the SCA's impact on accountability, instruction evaluation, supervision, feedback, frequency of meetings, and shared decision making. (Contains 43 references.) (PEN)
