Key Aspects of a Computerized Statistics Course.
Wells, Karin L.; Marsh, Lawrence C.
Journal of Computing in Higher Education, v8 n2 p72-93 Spr 1997
Looks at ways in which computer-assisted instruction transforms three traditional aspects of college teaching: lectures are replaced with multimedia presentations; homework becomes electronic, with instant grading and detailed explanations; and traditional office hours are replaced with electronic mail, list-serv, and live screen interaction between professor and student. Examines these issues in the context of a statistics course. (Author/MSE)
