Three components of an intergenerational program were older volunteers reading to and working with children in school, children exchanging letters and pictures with frail and home-bound elderly, and children's visits to nursing homes and senior centers. A survey of 100 students showed that 89% were very positive about the opportunity to learn about older people. (SK)
