Personality, Hemispheric Dominance, and Cognitive Style.
Hylton, Jaime; Hartman, Steve E.
Journal of College Reading and Learning, v27 n3 p96-107 Spr 1997
Shows that 154 medical students and 526 undergraduates (samples treated separately) who were judged left- or right-hemisphere dominant (by the Hemispheric Mode Indicator) were found to have very different personalities (as measured by the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator). Considers some of the practical ramifications of the psychometric overlap of these two personality instruments. (TB)
