Children's Attitudes and Behavioural Intentions towards Peers with Disabilities.
Roberts, Clare M.; Lindsell, Janina S.
International Journal of Disability, Development and Education, v44 n2 p133-45 Jun 1997
Investigation of determinants of 143 intermediate grade children's attitudes and behavioral intentions toward peers with physical disabilities found that the children's own attitudes toward inclusion of peers was the strongest predictor of behavioral intentions, though attitudes of teachers, principals, and parents were also significant predictors. Implications are drawn for whole class interventions to promote social integration. (DB)
