Masculine Gender Role Conflict: Effects on College Men's Psychological Well-Being, Chemical Substance Usage, and Attitudes toward Help-Seeking.
Watkins, C. Edward, Jr.; Blazina, Chris
Journal of Counseling Psychology, v43 n4 p461-65 Oct 1996
The effects of gender role conflict (GRC) on college men's scores of psychological well-being and other factors revealed that each of the four GRC variables was related to at least one variable of interest. For example, the success, power, and competition variable was related to a decrease in psychological well-being. (RJM)
