Examines the role of the graduate dean and faculty in the admission of graduate students with disabilities. Reviews legal responsibilities and obligations and provides a framework from which to review policies, procedures, and standards. Emphasizes admissions and recruitment, confidentiality, advertising, advocacy, documentation, mentoring, and the training of faculty. (RJM)
