Resources, Curriculum and Sixth-Form Students: Hong Kong, 1994-1995.
Stone, Marian C.
Education Economics, v5 n1 p27-39 Apr 1997
Reports on a Hong Kong study that addresses how time, a crucial resource, is deployed in grammar schools to provide a curriculum for sixth-form students. The education department's enrollment limits, together with a focus on preparing students for the Hong Kong Certificate of Education Examination and university entrance, have a pervasive influence on the curriculum offered to students and on the way resources are used.
