Our "Changing" Town, Our "Changing" School: Is Common Ground about "Good" Classroom Practices Possible? Two Readers Theater Presentations.
Konsal, Jean L.
School Community Journal, v6 n2 p93-130 Fall-Win 1996
Present two "readers theater" scripts of a small-town New England high school community's confrontation with changing values and curriculum. The scripts serve as vehicles for opening up dialog about what constitutes sound teaching and learning practices. The first script explores mental models of "good" practices held by parents; the second illuminates differences between educators' and parents' mental models. (18 references) (MLH)
