A Small Black College Uses Unconventional Means To Get Computers On Its Campus.
Blumenstyk, Goldie
Chronicle of Higher Education, v43 n27 pA21-A22 Mar 14 1997
Leaders at Voorhees College (South Carolina), a small historically black institution with limited finances, have used ingenuity and hard work to develop a campus computer system. Despite lack of faculty and staff sophistication in computer use, the college is gradually improving computer resources and faculty computing skills, and enterprising students are making good use of the resources at hand.
