How High Is "High Inference"? Within Classroom Differences in Students' Perceptions of Classroom Interaction.
Babad, Elisha
Journal of Classroom Interaction, v31 n1 p1-9 Win 1996
This study investigated the within-classroom uniformity of elementary students' perceptions of teachers' differential behavior, examining students at different achievement levels. Surveys indicated that achievement groups differed in perceptions of learning climate, negative reactions to teachers, and perceptions of teachers' differential behavior toward excellent versus weak students. Gender groups also differed. (SM)
