Examines data on job stress, health anxiety, and daily hassle from a survey of 1925 staff at an Australian University. Results found significant positive relationships among job stress and anxiety, daily hassle, and health. Stress seems associated with absences, visits to doctors, and frequency of illnesses and accidents. Implications for health promotion are discussed. (19 references) (MLH)
