Producing Identities: Gender Problematization and Feminist Argumentation.
Bruner, M. Lane
Argumentation and Advocacy, v32 n4 p185-98 Spr 1996
Argues that many rhetorical studies dealing with feminist argumentation have been limited because of tendencies to reify gender stereotypes. Reconceptualizes feminist argumentation not as an explication of "patriarchal" and "feminist" argument styles but as an endless critique of the ways in which gender stereotypes are variously enabling and contrasting.
