Conclusions of a literature review of 155 sources include the following: (1) genetic sources are more related to vocational interests than previously believed; (2) three-dimensional interest models are being confirmed; (3) research on culture and gender in career development is rapidly increasing; and (4) the adequacy of vocational assessment training in graduate programs is being questioned.
