Discusses the stages two universities followed when developing interactive videodisc case materials for elementary school science instruction: (1) collaborating with classroom teachers; (2) videotaping classroom lessons; (3) editing the videotape; and (4) developing the hypermedia. Other components of the project include creating an instructors' guide and assessing the effectiveness of the materials. (AEF)
