The Emotional Experience of School Change: Resistance, Loss, and Grief.
Marshak, David
NASSP Bulletin, v80 n577 p72-77 Feb 1996

Reinventing schools means attending to educators' emotional experience, particularly their expectations, sense of loss, and resulting grief. School norms must be transformed so that teachers and administrators can have meaningful conversations about fundamental concerns. (11 references) (MLH)
