The Impact of Magic Johnson's HIV Serostatus Disclosure on Unmarried College Students' HIV Knowledge, Attitudes, Risk Perception, and Sexual Behavior.
Ehde, Dawn M.; And Others
Journal of American College Health, v44 n2 p55-58 Sep 1995
Unmarried heterosexual college students' human immunodeficiency virus (HIV) knowledge, attitudes, risk perception, and sexual behavior were assessed before and after Magic Johnson's HIV-positive serostatus disclosure. After the disclosure, students showed small increases in HIV knowledge scores, but their attitudes, risk perceptions, and sexual behavior remained the same. Gender differences emerged. (Author/SM)
