Provides a summary of a research project that is investigating how increased involvement by the library media specialist in teaching specific cognitive strategies affect students' achievement and satisfaction with their learning. Higher-level thinking skills, learning processes, students' use of information, teaching strategies, and teachers' attitudes are discussed. (LRW)
