Social Science Literature Concerning African American Men.
Gordon, Edmund T.; And Others
Journal of Negro Education, v63 n4 p508-31 Fall 1994
Discusses the social science research literature on black males in the following four areas: demographic and statistical issues, psychosocial issues, political/economic issues, and educational issues. The article concludes that most black males are in more serious trouble than any other subpopulation in the United States, with the possible exception of Native Americans. Black male achievements, however, are noted. (GR)
