Examines the relationship between age, gender, and treatment attendance among 143 adolescent emergency room attendees referred for outpatient therapy. Adolescents terminated from treatment for nonattendance were significantly older than those completing treatment. Younger male patients kept significantly more appointments than did older male and female patients. (JPS)
