NOT Using a Computer in Language Assessment/Intervention: In Defense of the Reluctant Clinician.
Cochran, Paula S.; Masterson, Julie J.
Language, Speech, and Hearing Services in Schools, v26 n3 p213-22 Jul 1995
Factors that may hinder use of computers by speech/language/hearing clinicians in the schools are limited access, lack of training, worry over time constraints, and doubts regarding efficacy of computer activities. Clinicians should explore possible benefits of computer use such as tools for linguistic and phonological analysis, treatment data collection, and biofeedback provision. (Author/DB)
