Faculty Use and Perceptions of Electronic Mail: A Case Study.

A survey received 58 responses from business faculty before and 46 after installation of a local area network. After installation, time spent on electronic mail and number of messages increased. Respondents were positive about speed, reliability, and paper reduction, negative about lack of user-friendliness and unclear instructions. (SK)
