The year of 1994 resulted in limited action on disability policy but sweeping political change. A few important laws were enacted, including the Technology-Related Assistance Act Amendments, Developmental Disabilities Act Amendments, Social Security Act of 1994, and the reauthorized Elementary and Secondary Education Act.
