Examined self-reported depression and anxiety in 233 inpatient children diagnosed with anxiety disorder or depressive disorder. Depressed children reported more problems related to loss of interest and low motivation and had more negative view of themselves. Anxious children reported more worry about future, their well-being, and reactions of others. (Author/NB)
