Expanding the Utility of Behavioral Momentum with Young Children: Where We've Been, Where We Need to Go.
Davis, Carol Ann; Brady, Michael P.
Journal of Early Intervention, v17 n3 p211-23 Sum 1993
Behavioral momentum or interspersed requesting has been effectively used to achieve compliance with young children with disabilities. This paper reviews research on behavioral momentum and proposes expanding the utility of behavioral momentum to incorporate a variety of outcomes in social interactions, communication, motor skills, self-help skills, academics, and the gradual shift to peer-based momentum uses.
