Discussion of the effectiveness of bibliographic instruction focuses on a study of course-integrated instruction for nursing students at the University of Northern Colorado. Assessment surveys that measured students' library and information skills are described, comparisons between nursing students and other upperclass students are examined, and gender differences are considered.
