Bridging Language and Culture: A Cognitive Approach to the Study of Chinese Compounds.
Liu, Jennifer
Journal of the Chinese Language Teachers Association, v28 n3 p1-19 Oct 1992

It is argued that the formation of Chinese compounds are systematically guided by idealized cognitive models and compounds are semantically compositional. (seven references) (LB)
