Incidental Learning, Intelligence, and Verbal Ability.
Necka, Edward; And Others
Learning and Instruction, v2 n2 p141-53 1992

Data suggest that an important aspect of intelligence is "opportunistic" learning (learning in advance). Intelligent people take cognitive advantage of existing opportunities. (SLD)
