A majority of 213 college business students surveyed had knowledge of computer viruses; one-fourth had been exposed to them. Many believed that computer professionals are responsible for prevention and cure. Educators should make students aware of multiple sources of infection, the breadth and extent of possible damage, and viral detection and removal methods. (SK)
