Administered Mooney Problem Check List and Rosenberg's Self-Esteem Scale to 201 adolescents. Girls reported significantly more problems (interpersonal relationships, personal adjustment, health, and family issues) and lower levels of self-esteem than did boys. Found no significant difference between sexes in areas of educational and vocational future. Found significant relationship between self-esteem and reported problems. (Author/NB)
