Compared 48 adolescent cancer patients with matched group of 40 healthy adolescents on career maturity progress and tendency to foreclose on career choice. Found few differences as function of health status alone. Career maturity differed between two groups as function of age. Adolescent cancer patients showed greater tendency to prematurely foreclose on career choice than did healthy adolescents. (Author/NB)
