Presents the results of a student survey conducted in 1989 and used to evaluate the bibliographic instruction program at Stockton State College (New Jersey), which includes a self-paced workbook for freshman seminar classes, subject classes, online demonstrations, and a library research methods course. Further research is needed to identify students who need more concentrated instruction. (five references) (DB)
