Can Indicator Systems Improve the Effectiveness of Mathematics and Science Education? The Case of the US.
Shavelson, Richard J.
Evaluation and Research in Education, spec iss v4 n2 p51-60 1990

Indicators should embody the best knowledge and democratic values, which has not always been the case, to result in educational improvement. (SLD)
