Since 1988, a Salt Lake City elementary school has participated in World-Classroom, a unique global electronic information service allowing teachers and students around the world to share ideas and resources on mutual projects and current events. During the August 1991 coup attempt in the Soviet Union, the school maintained modem contact with a Moscow elementary school. (MLH)
