McGovern, Thomas V.; And Others
American Psychologist, v46 n6 p598-605 Jun 1991
Undergraduate psychology is considered a contemporary major achieving general education and study-in-depth goals. Past reports on the psychology major are reviewed to define the field of study. Eight common goals, a common framework for course requirements, and four curricular models, adaptable to a variety of institutional settings, are identified. (CJS)
