Students (n=431) from 12 colleges and students (n=278) from 12 high schools identified the top time wasters as procrastination, television, socializing, daydreaming, figuring out an assignment, physical problems, sleeping, lack of planning, waiting, and the telephone. Teachers can help students by introducing them to time management principles and integrating those principles into business courses. (JOW)
