Who Is Using What in the Public Schools: The Interrelationships among Alcohol, Drug and Tobacco Use by Adolescents in New Brunswick Classrooms.
Grobe, Cary; Campbell, Elaine
Journal of Alcohol and Drug Education, v35 n3 p1-11 Spr 1990
Attempted to discover patterns of alcohol, drug, and tobacco use among public school children in New Brunswick using Provincial School Drug Survey (PSDS), an existing large-scale assessment. Recoded variables in PSDS dataset to derive profiles of typical tobacco, cannabis, and alcohol users. Found increase in predictive accuracy of regression analysis as drug in question became less socially acceptable. (PVV)
