This study was conducted to determine whether there are differences in perceptions and expectations between teachers (N=118) of hearing-impaired students from different education systems and philosophies. Results indicate that teachers from oral/aural systems perceive themselves as more competent than teachers from other systems. Suggestions for further study are offered. (PB)
