Assigned women (N=58) sexually abused as children by close relative to interpersonal transaction group (IT), process group, or wait list condition. On measures of social adjustment, depression, fearfulness, and general distress, results indicated that IT and process groups were more effective than wait list in reducing depression and distress and that process group experienced improved social adjustment.
