Measuring Acceptance of Computer-Mediated Communication Systems.
Hiltz, Starr Roxanne; Johnson, Kenneth
Journal of the American Society for Information Science, v40 n6 p386-97 Nov 1989
Describes a study that examined the interrelationships among three dimensions of acceptance for computer mediated communication systems (CMCS). The dimensions examined were use, subjective satisfaction, and perceived benefits. It is concluded that future studies of CMCS's should not assume that usage alone or subjective satisfaction alone are adequate measures of successful implementation. (76 references) (CLB)
