Surveyed 737 university students using measure of suicidal ideation. Found that over 43 percent of subjects had experienced some level of suicidal ideation during previous year, 14.9 percent of whom acted on thoughts without making suicide attempt and 5.5 percent of whom had actually made suicide attempts. Serious suicidal ideation and actual attempts were related to several demographic traits. (Author/NB)
