Deconcentration of Public Housing: Effects on Residents' Satisfaction with Their Living Environments and Their Fear of Crime.
Burby, Raymond J.; Rohe, William M.
Urban Affairs Quarterly, v25 n1 p117-41 Sep 1989
Research based on data from comparative study of eight public housing developments. Findings illustrate that deconcentration of public housing provides some benefits for low-income, single-parent households. Results tend to support claims of both proponents and opponents of deconcentration. Implications for management of public housing are included. (MW)
