Integrates theoretical and methodological perspective involved with research in social cognition with literature from clothing and human behavior area. Found that theory and research from cognitive psychology serve as suitable and relevant framework for study of clothing and human behavior. Makes recommendations to researchers with regard to effective integration of these two areas. (Author)
