Developed student-centered method of health education in which health issues and activities were determined by students themselves. Compared to control group (N=47), experimental group students (N=51) scored more favorably on clarification of individual health issues, reported health-enhancing activities, and self-esteem. Intervention appeared to have developed capability of students to independently initiate health-enhancing actions. (Author/NB)
