Used Critical Incident Technique to examine problems encountered by secondary school counselors and to explore counseling strategies used to deal with these problems. Twenty critical incidents were described by six counselors. Classified client problems using Missouri Diagnostic Classification System and classified ways counselors handled incidents according to Hill's List of Intentions. (NB)
