Investigated previous courtship experiences and affect of a respondent's first marriage ending in annulment or divorce on subsequent courtship behavior of 248 individuals. Found that duration of previous courtship affected subsequent courtship. Number of control variables, including gender, education, and income, contributed to analysis of courtship behavior of individuals who eventually remarry. (Author/NB)
