Assessed attitudes toward drinking and smoking among 766 women aged 20 to 30 years. Among nonsmokers, drunkenness and smoking were equally distasteful. For total samples rankings were, in order from least acceptable to most acceptable, drunkenness followed by smoking followed by normal drinking. (Author/NB)
