Describes an interactive microcomputer videodisc package, Improving Teacher Effectiveness, that was developed to help teachers improve their effectiveness and to demonstrate videodisc use in learning. Highlights of the system include models of good classroom instruction techniques, four principles of effective instruction, and the opportunity to design and write lesson plans. (LRW)
