Latina immigrants are faced with mutiple premigration stressors including loss of family and familiar surroundings, as well as postmigration stressors associated with cultural change. Baseline information is presented on the psychosocial stressors, needs and expectations most often seen in providing mental health services to these women. Case studies are included. (JMM)
